How can I apply to be on your broker panel?
Ideally, you’re already a broker currently transacting hard asset business for your customers. We have a team of Regional Sales Managers who can help you, so please go onto our contact page and get in touch with them.
Can I speak to an underwriter?
Yes, on some large or complex deals we give direct access to our underwriting team. Our Regional Sales Managers are also credit trained, and can help in many circumstances with making sure you get your deals over the line.
How much can InterBay Asset Finance lend to a business customer?
Our minimum deal size is £25,000 with no maximum.
Who is eligible for asset finance?
We accept small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), limited companies, partnerships and sole traders, large corporate entities and limited liability partnerships (LLPs) – providing they’re all UK-registered.
Can you fund assets from overseas suppliers?
We can consider foreign suppliers; however, this will be subject to our normal credit procedures and the assets must be in the UK before funds are released.
Can you transact in a different currency (Euros, for example)?
We only deal in pound sterling; therefore, if a foreign supplier has a sterling account, we can still pay them directly. Alternatively, we can reimburse the customer directly under Sale and Hire Purchase-back if they wish to pay for the equipment upfront.
Do you require original documentation?
Original documentation isn’t required unless specifically requested, as we’re able to release funds against clear scanned copies.
