InterBay Asset Finance is proud to announce that they have won the inaugural Asset Finance Professionals Association (AFPA) Big Quiz, with their team of five managing to secure £10,000 for their chosen charity partner, Depaul UK.

The InterBay Asset Finance team took part in the annual quiz where teams compete for both the Rivermore Trophy and charity prize money and after a tight battle, InterBay Asset Finance emerged victorious.

InterBay Asset Finance is the asset finance division of OSB Group and partnered with Depaul UK earlier this year. Depaul UK offers support services for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, by providing emergency accommodation, longer-term housing, family mediation, education, training, and employment opportunities. The charity also carries out school prevention work to help at-risk young people navigate future challenges and give them the best possible start in life.

Paul Fazakerley, Managing Director, InterBay Asset Finance (part of OSB Group) commented on their win: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this inaugural event organised by the AFPA. It’s an honour to be able to donate such a generous amount of money to our charity partner Depaul UK who do such important work in helping young people experiencing homelessness.”

Sarah Williams, Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships, Depaul UK “The funds raised will go towards supporting young people who are at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness, to get the support they need to transform their lives and build a brighter future.  . This donation will help provide essential services such as emergency accommodation, mental health support and long-term solutions to housing and income needs, and it will give young people the most valuable gift they could receive – the hope and opportunity to start again.”
